I have never been married. Born, raised, confirmed Catholic. My fiance' is Christian. Married in a Christian church but since divorced. Annulment seems to be out of the question in the stringent Catholic church. She has since been confirmed Catholic. I have always dreamed of marrying and going through the sacrament of marriage in a Catholic Church but it looks like that will not happen. But, I intend to continue going to my parish and raising my children Catholic. Does anyone have any recommendations as to a nice church and priest we can speak to near Glendale or Burbank, CA that can marry us in at least a Christian Church? Help please? Additional details about annulment: I did talk to a priest and circumstances of 1) approximate one year's time to get a decision and 2) uncertainty of an annulment being approved are deterrents. Her father is dying of cancer and has a few months left to live. We both would like for her father to be part of the ceremony and see us married. Her father wants to see her married to me!
